Parents spend so much time worrying about their children’s behaviour.
Their concerns can range from wondering if something is normal to realising that their child has a tendency to act in a particular way that they don’t feel comfortable to manage. This is true no matter what age the child is. At Kids on Track we work with families whose children range in age from newborn up to the age of 18.
At times, Kids on Track is asked by the school to help with management strategies and other times by the parents. Either way, we will conduct an initial assessment by the end of which we will start to suggest strategies that can be implemented immediately. We also can put together a written behaviour plan that can be used in childcare centres or schools if requested. We are also able to make referrals where needed to other paediatric allied health professionals.
